Slinger-based Monarch filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which involves selling assets with the proceeds distributed to the company's creditors. Once that process is completed, Monarch will be gone.

The prospects of collecting money from the company appear dim.

Monarch's bankruptcy filing, which occurred last week, said the company has estimated assets of zero to $50,000 and estimated liabilities of $1 million to $10 million. More detailed information is to be filed later this month.
